Signumat Split Stopper
The best protection for your wood.
Splits in the wood cross-section considerably reduce the yield of the
desired product – the deeper the split, the more serious the loss in value.
In order to limit splits in the logs to an absolute minimum, we have
developed a product that offers maximum protection with the simplest
mode of action!
The Split Stopper is one of the many products with which we make work
easier for professionals in the wood industry. The application is clever and
simple: In combination with the premium hammer or the reliable
Setting-Tool, the Split Stopper is positioned firmly in the logs. In this way,
the spread of splits is guaranteed to be stopped!

SIGNUMAT PREMIUM SPLIT STOPPER
This newly designed premium split stopper is a unique innovation, which redefines the topic of preserving the value of wood.
The Split Stopper in detail
Thoroughly thought through
A precise four point mounting ensures simple and fast placement right on the premium setting hammer or the setting aid. The wave blade reduces the penetration resistance significantly and the split stoppers can be completely set with just one single hammer blow. Due to the reinforced middle bar, the split stopper offersonsiderably higher tensile strenght than typical products. In addition, the short and intermediate crossbars ensure stability and a proper distribution of the tensile load.
Signumat Premium Setting Hammer
The Premium Setting Hammer enables precise working. A special joint designed by Latschbacher ensures full force transmission and a level impact, even when the hammer is swung at a slight angle or onto unevenly cut surfaces. This ensures neat and thorough placement of the premium split stopper with just one single hammer blow.
Split Stopper Setting Aid
The high quality Signumat Setting Aid is a solution for small quantities of round timber and in places that are difficult to access. The rotatable hammering element enables a very precise setting of the Split Stopper. For the perfect transmission of force, use a sledge hammer, which weighs at least 2kg.
